The flames flickered upward as the Shabbos candles were lit at the Chabad Neshama Center. The candles gave a warm and spiritual glow to many of those participants partaking in the candle lighting for the first time. Over a 100 Russian and American Jews joined the elegant summer Shabbaton hosted by Rabbi Avrohom and Shula Winner. The Kabbalistic explanations of Shabbos  was inspiring, the atmosphere moving and singing unified. Rabbi Zushe Winner of the Seabreeze Jewish Center was the guest lecturer.

“Celebrating Shabbos at the Chabad Neshama Center, is a special experience. The bright Shabbos candles give my young children Jewish pride and a strong feeling for our heritage,” commented Ludmilla Gurwitz.
