Many women have never had the opportunity to celebrate their Bat Mitzvah in a meaningful way due to the circumstances of their childhoods. "BMA - Bat Mitzvah Program for Adults" has been created to fill this void. It includes an in-depth learning curriculum and culminates in an elegant private Bat Mitzvah Dinner for all the participants and their guests. It is designed to be an intimate program, for small groups of women with a serious interest in Judaism and exploring their heritage.
The learning will be comprised of an incredible two part curriculum.
The first part will be a six-session course based on the "Heroines of the Bible" series by RCS. The course explores the struggles and challenges, the celebration and redemption, of six unique women who are central figures in the history of the Jewish people. Empowered by their uniquely feminine qualities and prophetic vision, they inspired not only the women of their respective generations, but also the people as a whole, to identify with their personal mission and spiritual purpose. Today, living in our modern world, we too can connect with these great women, and by tapping into their stories we can attain personal fulfillment and success in our own lives. The second part of the curriculum will feature three sessions, each focusing in-depth on one of the three foundational mitzvos of the Jewish woman. Each of these sessions will address the practical details of one of these mitzvos, as well as exploring its inner meaning and Kabbalistic interpretations. These lessons promise to be fascinating and inspirational regardless of your current level of observance.
The program will cost $500 to cover the professional curriculum and classes as well as the Bat Mitzvah Dinner for yourself and three guests. Additional guests are welcome at an additional fee of $50.
