Esther Winner, an inspiring teacher, dynamic lecturer, gourmet cook and the wife of Rabbi Zushe Winner, spiritual leader of the Seabreeze Jewish Center of West Brighton in Brooklyn, New York is also the director of the synagogue's Talmud Torah program.  Dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity, education and culture in the Russian Jewish community, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Winner are the founders of the Chabad Neshama Community Center.

Esther always reaches out and welcomes guests for Shabbos dinner and one fateful Friday night she invited her pediatrician and his wife, writer Helen Zegerman Schwimmer.  Inspired by the "joy of living Jewish" she experienced, Helen encouraged Esther to share her expertise with a wider audience and so the writer and the rebbetzin teamed up to produce "A Taste Of Shabbos," the video.  As a result of the popularity of the entertaining and informative sixty minute family video Esther and Helen created a motivational seminar, "Life Is Like A Block of Chocolate," that they have presented to enthusiastic audiences throughout the United States and Canada, including California, Kansas, Ohio, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, Connecticut and Toronto.  During the seminar Helen shares the inspiring story of her spiritual journey followed by Esther's informative talk and hands-on cooking demonstration.  Esther has been described as the "kosher" Martha Stewart and as a result of her culinary expertise, she was chosen to host a program on Jewish cuisine that is part of the PBS television series, "The United Tastes Of America," which has been viewed in millions of homes across the U.S.  and Europe.
